U Radio 107.9 FM was started in 2006 as a pirate radio station which broadcasting its on air signal on 107.9 MHz frequency without any broadcast permits and without any call sign. In 2007, this unknown radio station was granted a broadcasting permit and branded as 107.9 U Radio. The U Radio 107.9 FM is streaming and broadcasting underground dance club music 24 hours a day and 7 days a week live from Metro Manila, Philippines.
